How a cohort forms
A cohort forms when the people who want to train are ready, and we build the start around them. Here is exactly how it works, and how your place is protected from the moment you reserve it.
The short version
A new facilitator cohort forms when eight people are ready to begin. Until then, the group is gathering, and you can see it filling in real time. You reserve your place with a small, fully refundable payment. When the eighth place is taken, the start date locks to the next window at least four weeks away, and everyone holding a place is told the date at the same moment.
If that date or the weekly time slot ever changes after you have reserved, your payment is returned in full, automatically. You are never out of pocket for a date you did not choose.

Why this way
Why we form cohorts this way
Most trainings pick a date first and sell against it. That suits the institute and asks you to bend your life around a date someone else chose.
We start from the other end. We ask the people who want to train which times suit them, and we form the next group around real demand. A small, closed cohort of professionals training together for three years works best when the group fits together and fits the schedule. So we let the group assemble before we fix the date, and we protect everyone who commits early while it does.

Forming
The group is gathering. Early on you see the level of interest rather than a seat count, because a handful of reserved places is not yet a number worth counting. Reserve now and you are among the first the date is built around.

Filling
Once four places are reserved, the count becomes visible, and you can watch the group fill toward the eight it takes to begin. Every place shown is a paid, refund-protected commitment, not an expression of interest.

Locked in
At eight reserved places, the cohort is going ahead. The start date finalises to the next window at least four weeks out, everyone is told at once, and the remaining places open up to a maximum of twelve.
Reading it
What you see on the tracker
The tracker shows two things, and they do two different jobs.
Reserved places is the hard count. Every place is held by someone who has put money down and is covered by the refund guarantee. This is the number that climbs toward eight, and in public it only ever holds or rises, so what you see is always the real strength of the group.
People considering it right now is the live interest in the cohort. It moves as people come and go, the way a "currently looking" signal does anywhere, and it shows the group has momentum well before the first places are reserved.
One number is the commitment, the other is the company you would be in. Both are real people.
The ladder
How you reserve a place
There are three ways to be part of a forming cohort, and only the last one holds a place.
Add your input at /vote. You tell us the times that would suit you and that you are interested. This costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It is how we learn what the next group needs.
Book a call. A short discovery call, to make sure the fit is right both ways. After it you can hold a spot for up to three weeks while you decide, with no payment.
Reserve your place with a payment from €75. This is the one step that holds a seat and counts toward the eight. It is a partial payment of your first month, not a charge on top, and the balance of that month falls due only once the date is finalised. From there the training runs on its normal monthly plan, set out in full on the training page. You can also pay the full first month now if you prefer. Either way, the payment is fully refundable on the terms below.
The guarantee
Your reserved place is fully refundable if the start date or the weekly time slot changes after you reserve it.
Those are the only two things that trigger a refund, and they are the two things you cannot control. If either moves, your payment comes back in full, automatically, without you having to ask. You commit to a cohort, not to a date.
