The Annual Intensive

Four days, once a year, to shift what you carry

The deepest work we run, and only once a year. A small group, four full days in person in Brussels, the same people and a facilitator team beside you the whole way through. Each edition is built around one theme, and this year it is trauma, the shape of what stays with you afterwards. Trauma-informed and consent-led, from the first morning to the last.

Participants seated in a circle during a family constellations intensive in Brussels

Some of what trauma leaves does not stay in the past. It settles into how you brace, who you keep at a distance, the role you took in the family so everyone else could cope. You can understand all of it and still feel it run. Four days gives that work the room it needs: time to arrive, to let something surface without being rushed, to set it up in front of you and see its real shape, and to let the change settle in the body before you carry it back into your life.

Here you meet what you carry from a place of safety, slowly, with a team holding the room and your own consent leading every step. What moves is the shape of the thing, the pattern and the place you hold inside the system. The work is not about reliving the worst of it.

A constellation gives a difficulty a shape you can see. You name what you are carrying. Others in the room stand in for the parts that matter, a parent, a sibling, an event, a part of you, and take their places. What they sense as they stand there gives what you carry a shape the room can work with. Over four days, with the same group and the same facilitators, that work reaches somewhere a single afternoon cannot.

How we work

Beyond the Individual

Two things hold the four days together, whatever you bring.

The whole picture

What trauma leaves is rarely carried by one person alone. It is held in place by the system around it, the family, its history, its loyalties. When the system is set out in front of you and you can see it, the pattern makes sense, and it can begin to move.

Body and mind together

The work happens in the body as much as the mind. You place the system in space and feel it, in sensation, posture and the nervous system, and that felt experience is what brings the insight. Over four days there is time for it to settle before you carry it home.

After a month of what seemed to be a struggle And complete disconnection with myself, I came to a workshop. Thank you so much! I could witness and experience a genuine quality of caring from Cecilia. What we experienced during the workshop took me straight back to my heart and soul. Also there is so much more I want to convey that seem so hard with words. Also my courage and compassion towards others and myself have grown thanks to the work.

Questions, answered

Is this therapy?
No. It is experiential systemic and personal-development work, trauma-informed and led by a clinically experienced team directed by a psychotherapist. It is not clinical treatment and not a substitute for it, though it sits well alongside care.
Will I have to relive my trauma?
No. The work is about the shape and the pattern of what you carry, met from safety and at your own pace. You set the limits, and you can decline or pause any part of it at any time.
