Family constellations, online
Does this actually work through a screen?
It carries further than you'd expect. Here's what changes when the room becomes a video call, and what doesn't.
Constellation work is physical. People stand in for parts of your system, and what they feel in the room, standing where they're standing, is a real part of how the work happens. So "online" sounds like it should be a smaller version. It isn't, and the difference is worth explaining honestly rather than promising away.
What actually changes
Four things a facilitator does in a room
Here's what each one becomes on a video call. Flip the switch to see.
Reading the system
In the room. The facilitator reads posture, distance, where people stand and how they hold themselves.
On the call. The facilitator reads your voice, your pacing, what you name and what you leave out, and asks more, not less, to build the same picture.
The representative's felt sense
In the room. A representative stands in physical space and reports what they feel standing there.
On the call. The same reporting happens through what a person feels as they hold someone else’s role in their imagination, guided into it deliberately rather than picked up by proximity.
The pace of the work
In the room. The facilitator slows or moves the work by managing the physical space.
On the call. The same pacing happens through the facilitator’s questions and silences. Nothing about a screen speeds the work up or skips a step.
What settles afterwards
In the room. You leave the space and the shift travels with you.
On the call. You close the call and the shift travels with you. Practitioners report this part is identical, room or screen.
Why this practice
Reasons to work with us, from anywhere
In your own language
We are an international practice, and our clients are too. Between our practitioners we work in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and Romanian. We meet you in the language you think in. Tell us your preference when you book.
A real method, a real lineage
Every practitioner here trained at EISEC, the institute behind the practice, and the practice is led by Cecilia Altieri, who trains facilitators across Europe.
An hour that fits your day
We are in Brussels (CET/CEST), but for private sessions we set the hour to suit you, not us.
The logistics
How an online session actually runs
1
You book a time that fits you
Choose your practitioner and a slot. We work across time zones, so the hour shown is the hour where you are.
2
You join by video, from somewhere safe
A private link, a quiet space, a steady connection. Nothing to install beyond what you already use.
3
You bring what is alive for you now
In your own words, in your own language where we can.
4
The work stays with you
We close gently. What moves in the session often keeps working in the days after, wherever you are.
Your time zone
We work across time zones, and the hour is set to suit your day.
Tell us where you are, and we will find an hour that fits. A 3 pm Brussels session is 15:00 CEST for you.
Who does this work online

In their words
A first session, online
I want to say a big thank to Cecilia. It was my first experience online with constellations, but it was amazing. Cecilia did it very gently, deep, professional and intelligent!
